Abstract#

Numpy and Pandas are two of the most essential data analysis tools in an astronomer’s repertoire. Good handling of these two softwares allow us to create processing pipelines that are faster, easier to implement, and more efficient all around in comparison to python built in libraries. Most of us are familiar with simple array handling and statistical analysis using the aforementioned packages, but the complexity of tasks that can be achieved using them goes way beyond that, in this python meeting instance we will explore Numpy and Pandas in depth.
